Words

Thanks to everyone for encouraging me to write some of my thoughts down for the whole world to see. Thank you Daryl for making it happen.

I promise that I will compose some profound, inspiring and deeply moving literature for everyone to read, but right now it is late at night and I’m very tired. I know what happens when I get in this frame of mind – the next morning I’m truly embarrassed by the things I’ve said. So rather than drift into an emotional realm where I bare my soul for everyone to see, I’ll just hit the post button now.

Yay! Your very first post and I’m the very first comment. We look forward to all the interesting stories and inspiring wisdom you have to impart, as well as the embarrassing and emotional baring of your soul.

Don’t get so profound that I will become depressed; don’t be so inspiring that I will spend the day contemplating–something–I’m not awake enough to think of what I don’t want to contemplate, and don’t write such deeply moving literature that I will need a dictionary to understand you. It was just so much fun to read your blog.

    Keep up the good work!

You can always go back and edit what you wrote later, but if you make any startling revelations we will probably remember them even after you change it.

Tell us about your hikes, geocaching, kids, and political wisdom (well, maybe you should be careful there…)

Remember that this family is strongly divided in the political sector, and you may need a protective face mask to avoid all the cat scratches which might fly.
