Cool. Does the attachment on the left of the bike limit how sharply you can turn right, or does the offset keep it clear? Do the wheels have ball/roller bearings or are they just bushings? Do you think you will take it on the highway?
The wheels almost look like bicycle wheels. I bet they have ball bearings in them.
That’s genius! What a great idea to pick up that cast off bike stroller and use it for hauling stuff with your motorcycle.
Yes it does have bicycle wheels with bearings. I would take it on some streets and back roads – places you would normally ride a bike – but not on a highway. There is probably legality issues with pulling a trailer on the road.
I’ve seen motorcycles towing trailers. Most of them are big bikes like Goldwings but it must be legal.
Not sure you would want to do it with your bike on busy roads though.
Would the trailer need a license plate to legally run on the road? Or is it sufficient to be able to see the motorcycle license? Probably would be hard to pass vehicle inspection to get a license…
Bringing the cart home before modifications. Too bad he was walking in front of it so it’s a little hard to see.
You can watch him bring the cart home and get a better idea of it here:
